Please find below this new Safe Surgeries resource which we are sharing with Network members on behalf of Doctors of the World.
The resource provides recommendation for Integrated Care Boards and primary care commissioners in delivering initial health assessment and ongoing access to primary care for residents in initial and contingency Home Office accommodation.
The toolkit aims to ensure equality in access to services and improved long-term health outcomes for people seeking asylum, minimising health inequalities and encouraging collaborative working with accommodation providers and other local stakeholders. The toolkit can be accessed here.
